Karnes Electric Cooperative (KEC) is seeking an individual to join our Technology Team. Our department supports the critical technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, communications, applications, and operational systems that our employees, members, and communities rely on every day.

Seeking to fill only one of the following roles within the department:

· IT Technician I
· IT Technician II
· IT Systems Analyst
· Network Administrator

Location: Pleasanton or Karnes City, Texas
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am- 5pm, on-site attendance required
Position: Full-Time

Position Summary
Technology department positions support the planning, implementation, administration, security, maintenance, and support of KEC’s technology environment. Responsibilities vary by position and experience level but may include end-user support, systems administration, business applications, cybersecurity, networking, infrastructure management, and technology project delivery.

Successful candidates demonstrate strong technical aptitude, analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional service while helping ensure the reliability, security, and resiliency of the Cooperative’s technology systems.

Minimum Qualifications
Required qualifications vary by position and level. Candidates with relevant education, technical training, industry certifications, and experience in information technology, network administration, systems support, cybersecurity, business applications, or related disciplines are encouraged to apply.

Utility, electric cooperative, or other critical infrastructure experience is preferred but not required for all positions.
